On 22nd and 23rd of May at Fabbrica del Vapore hosts Savana #Mash, a double date of cultural entertainment with concerts, live performances, djset, disco fair, screenings and meetings about “global” sonority, in particular with the electronic sounds produced in the South of the world.
Guest, among others, Egyptian visual artist and musician Hassan Khan, with his special Club Gamelan live performance for “thin dances” – as he himself defines them – born from the ancient indonesian, javanese and balinese tradition of Gamelan, that consists in a big orchestra of percussion instruments: xylophones, gongs, drums and metallophones. Presented in collaboration with Careof and Gluck 50, which hosts the artist in the exhibition “RR ZZ” open to the public from 12th May to 19th September.
Savana #Mash is organized by S/V/N/, a musical and artistic research review that conducts trough new sounds and multimedia arts in Milan, in collaboration with Careof, Viafarini, Norient, Honest Jon’s, Palm Wine, Hundebiss Records, MusicalZOO festival, Galleria Gluck50, Communion.
