With the goal of promoting the knowledge of contemporary art in mind, Careof's staff holds classes in universities and masters programs on subjects like the history of video art and contemporary practices, the management of an archive, the problems with conservation and archiving of materials, the management of a non profit organization.

Careof organizes, in and outside its venue, workshops with artists and experienced critics and also practical laboratories on the use of video equipment.

 

The teaching activity employs mostly materials from the Video Archive such as interviews, video documentations and works produced from the mid ’60 until today.
